Each outcome is a contract that pays $1 if it happens and $0 if it does not. A price of 36¢ means traders are treating that outcome as a 36% chance. Buying $10 of Yes at 36¢ gives you about 27.8 shares. If the outcome hits, those shares pay about $27.80.
